Rachel Hunter at GoodPlasticSurgery.com

Rachel Hunter pics at Splash News Online

I surfed by GoodPlasticSurgery.com today and found a bit on Rachel Hunter.

She comments on how well Rachel looks after noting the tell tale "under the breast" or Inframammmry scars.

Moderate-sized breast implant results tend to look pretty natural. They also stand the test of time better than larger ones. The problem is that many women want larger implants than this.

The interview was fun and I wish to thank Daisy and Duke for a good show.

Stephanie Kuleba - Tragic Case

Palm Beach Post

Stephanie Kuleba was a vibrant 18 year old woman whose life was lost during a routine breast augmentation case in Florida this week. It is suspected that the case may have been due to malignant hyperthermia, a rare but potentially fatal reaction to anesthetics.

I am sure that the case will be thoroughly investigated but wish to extend my condolences to the family. If this is as described, it could happen to anyone and although rare it is certainly tragic.

Carnie Wilson After Gastric Bypass - Weight Gain?

AOL

In 1999, Carnie Wilson underwent a bariatric operation (there are many types). She subsequently lost a great deal of weight and likely had plastic surgery. This release features a story about how she gained a whole lot of weight again.

These cases are fascinating as patients really aren't able to gain this much weight after these operations, at least not very often. Does anyone know who did her operation or what type she had? The question of how weight loss surgery patients do after these operations is an experiment in evolution.

New Plastic Surgery Laws?

NBC Chicago

"An Illinois lawmaker on Tuesday said she wants more stringent regulations on plastic surgery."

While this stuff doesn't really bother me per se, it will drive up the cost of surgery to the patient. It is a shame that the government feels the need to try to force that which most of us do anyway of our own accord. My practice doesn't run anything like that of Dr Adams at least from that which I read.

Is the Starship Obama Going Down?

Newsmax

Well it was only a matter of time before the good Senator Obama took some strikes against his "goodie two shoes" reputation. No one rises to the level of US Senator without playing politics at some time or another.

Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright, Jr. is making for a pretty nasty stain. It is hard to believe that the Senator didn't know of his pastor's views, so if nothing else it was an error to put the pastor into his campaign. We'll just have to see how this turns out.

The Clintons are probably doing cartwheels by now.

Sleepy After Glen Ivy Spa Weekend

Nice place, but I wish I knew what was in that tea. I think it put me to sleep. Corona isn't that far from me really. I thought it was farther.

Japanese Self-Liposuction

Only in Japan. In the US, he would probably do damage to himself and sue the company that made the machine.

Eliot Spitzer - The Fall of a Demon-crat

I find it surprising that a request came in for my take on the Spitzer thing. It must have become clear in my ramblings that I do not like hypocritical politicians, but then again who does.

Pics of his hooker

These make it apparent (although no body shots are present) that this gal was not a supermodel, but a cute next door type. She could have used a nose job. She how I put at least something about plastic surgery in the post. And I don't even do nose jobs!

Susan Estrich on Spitzer

I usually like Susan Estrich, although she is a Democrat and a law professor (both of which usually make doctors snarl). I certainly agree that men can be stupid where it comes to sex. His lack of judgment where it comes to the law, his chosen profession, is the most alarming for me. His lack of ethics really doesn't surprise me at all. He is a politician and a lawyer. I have met plenty of lawyers who think they can do whatever they want because they know the law and can (and will) get away with it. He was likely amongst that group.

I really do not feel sorry for Spitzer, but I do for his daughters and family. He is an embarrassment that only a whole lot of accomplishment can even attempt to hide. I wish them the best with healing after this tragedy.

Breast Implant Warranty?

NY Times

This story is kinda pointless: the understanding between a patient and a surgeon has a lot to do with the surgeon's philosophy. Many of us are very good at informing our patients. No one hides anything from the patient in my practice. Some patients probably seek practices with lesser disclosure to reduce anxiety.

Vida Guerra shows off her Breast Implants

This clip shows what can happen when a woman with on the large side "under the muscle" breast implants flexes her pectoral muscles in a tight top. Implant size is always relative to what she had there in the first place.
