Eliot Spitzer - The Fall of a Demon-crat

I find it surprising that a request came in for my take on the Spitzer thing. It must have become clear in my ramblings that I do not like hypocritical politicians, but then again who does.

These make it apparent (although no body shots are present) that this gal was not a supermodel, but a cute next door type. She could have used a nose job. She how I put at least something about plastic surgery in the post. And I don't even do nose jobs!

Susan Estrich on Spitzer

I usually like Susan Estrich, although she is a Democrat and a law professor (both of which usually make doctors snarl). I certainly agree that men can be stupid where it comes to sex. His lack of judgment where it comes to the law, his chosen profession, is the most alarming for me. His lack of ethics really doesn't surprise me at all. He is a politician and a lawyer. I have met plenty of lawyers who think they can do whatever they want because they know the law and can (and will) get away with it. He was likely amongst that group.

I really do not feel sorry for Spitzer, but I do for his daughters and family. He is an embarrassment that only a whole lot of accomplishment can even attempt to hide. I wish them the best with healing after this tragedy.
