Jane Fonda On Plastic Surgery

Star Pulse

Fonda admits she is the last person who should lecture on cosmetic surgery, having gone under the knife herself.

She says, "I have had plastic surgery in the past, but I don't want to do it anymore. I get so disturbed when I come out here (Los Angeles), and I see everybody kind of looking alike.

"We've got to show young girls that you can grow old and still live and have sex, and be erotic, and have fun - and have wrinkles."

Honestly after her activism against our soldiers in the Vietnam War (that's all it ever can be to me when you hang out with the enemy,) I really have a hard time caring about her.

The one salient point here is that plastic surgery ceases to be beneficial upon too much repetition. By the looks of things, Ms Fonda has had quite a bit.

Heidi Montag Breast Implants

Pic Source.

The Hill's star Heidi Montag went for breast implants and it looks like she stayed within a reasonable size range. Thin gals can look good with breast implants if they stay within a moderate target size range.

It's nice to see good plastic surgery for a change.

Britney Spears Weight Loss Saga Contineud

Pic Source.

Britney Spears is starting to look pretty good. Speculation about the extent to which cosmetic surgery may be responsible is about. A few points:

(1) It takes a few months to look good and feel good after a tummy tuck.

(2) The clothing she is wearing in these images exposes the upper tummy and not the lower.

I'd bet she's got some loose skin laying beneath that skirt. The upper abdomen looks like diet and exercise can frequently make it look after moderate weight loss. And liposuction does not make things look tight....just thinner. She just hasn't had the time out of the public eye to do anything major like a tummy tuck...unless it was a very minor operation. Good for her on the exercise and diet. It's working.

Bad Plastic Surgery - Celebs

SheKnows

When you see "Bad Plastic Surgery" touted on the web, it usually means one of a few things:

(1) Someone had too much surgery and there is more scar than person left. (Probably 80% of the time)

(2) Someone who was not the greatest candidate for surgery had it anyway or the surgeon was weak or put in a poor effort. (Maybe 15% of the time)

(3) A freak mishap occurred even though all was done correctly. (Less than 5% of the time)

This story on SheKnows features some celebrity plastic surgery train wrecks. Keep this in mind as you view the spectacle.

Britney Spears Weight Loss Saga

Britney Spears has by all appearances lost a good deal of weight. Speculation is that cosmetic surgery might be involved.

The majority of patients do not lose weight after cosmetic surgery however. Surgery is an option in fine tuning when the weight loss is over. Consider it body work. Britney's weight loss is more likely due to diet and exercise. Good for her.

Pamela Anderson's breasts are basically "all implant"

Lovely Elisa posts on Pamela Anderson with a few bikini images and questions.

Implants of the size we see here dwarf the tissue Ms Anderson has available for coverage. Especially when she wears tight clothing, the folds of the implants become visible. The folds become more noticeable with a little bump at the location at which the pectoral muscle ends on the chest wall. I'll bet her implants are partially "under the muscle."

When you go really large on breast implants, they are going to look fake. As long as that is what you want, I guess that is OK. They probably hurt too at least on occasion at this size. Smaller ones really don't.

Britney Spears and "Lipo Dissolve"

So the word is that Britney Spears had a non-invasive fat treatment called Lipo Dissolve. These injection therapies are unproven. I have seen a few patients after similar treatments. Some had hard nodules and irregularities. Others claimed they had spent $$$$$ with no results.

I would consider such therapies experimental. If you feel like trying them out, consider them that and you will not be left disappointed.

Gabsmash is writing that Britney is planning some kind of large scale makeover to the tune of $130,000!

I hope that she doesn't think this "Lipo Dissolve" will have any effect upon her skin or stretched out tummy muscle wall. It won't. Now a tummy tuck or a body lift; that is another story.

Could Hillary Bring Us World Peace?

This image (borrowed from Dlisted) made me think of just how unlikely it might be that this woman would get us out of a war. This looks like the face of a woman who could start World War III.

It makes me think of a documentary I saw years ago on Ted Bundy, the serial killer. The narrator discussed an image of Bundy losing his temper before his jury. At this point the jury got a clue as to what was really in his mind. This woman gives me a chill into the center of my spine that could paralyze. I won't be voting for her.

Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott and Plastic Surgery

The Bosh

This is a funny little story. It reports that to celebrate their new child Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are going to have plastic surgery. This seems very "LA" to me.

Another part of the article promotes mesotherapy as an alternative to liposuction for "baby weight." I think I would rather promote exercise and diet followed by an evaluation by a good plastic surgeon (if any problem areas remain,) but that is just me. ;)

Paris Hilton Boobjob

Team Sugar

Previously we have blogged about the very "bloggable" Paris Hilton (who seems to revel in the attention.) I have said that despite her statements to the contrary, she would probably join the "celebrity plastic surgery club." By the looks of these pics at Team Sugar, she seems to have taken a pair of breast implants out for a run.

Paris continues to provide bloggers with entertainment and by all accounts will do so well into the foreseeable future.

Courtney Love has "anti plastic surgery?"

GenerationQ

What the hell is "anti-plastic surgery?" Sounds like a marketing gimmick to me.

Courtney Love has lost way too much weight as well.
