What is happening to Jenna Jameson?

Pic Source

Dlisted has a story today asking what is happening to Jenna Jameson. Jenna used to be a pretty smoking hot model. In this image from Dlisted she looks too thin with lips looking like a bit too much filler has been applied (my opinion of course.)

Too much cosmetic surgery can be a bad thing and is probably part of the problem here. It is a shame as Jenna has looked so much better.

A few years ago I wrote a piece for my web site that went through a few of my observations as to why porn stars do so poorly with plastic surgery. Surf it if you like.

More Anna Nicole Smith

ANS at Blue Star Chronicles

Beth at Blue Star Chronicles did a much better job than I could have with the story about which everyone is reading. I am fatigued of it. It has nothing to do with plastic surgery, but it seems to be of interest to everyone else. Most of our "Plastic Surgery Celebs" are keeping their heads down at present.

Minnesota moves to Tax Cosmetic Surgery

Denver Post

State Rep. Phyllis Kahn is pushing to extend Minnesota's 6.5 percent sales tax to include cosmetic surgery and appearance-enhancing procedures including chemical skin peels, laser hair removal, cosmetic injections and spider vein treatments.

Anybody who has the money for plastic surgery can afford to pay the tax, said Kahn, a Minneapolis Democrat.

Do I hear a campaign slogan coming:

"Democrats will even tax your Botox."

I knew I wasn't ever going to be a Democrat. LOL.

Kelly Osbourne on her Mother's Plastic Surgery

ECanada.com

Kelly Osbourne thinks her mother Sharon has taken her plastic surgery too far. Last week, she insisted she was so impressed with her mother’s boob job she couldn’t wait to go under the knife herself:

"My mum’s had just about everything you can have done, so I know the right and wrong way to do it.”

Funny.

Anna Nicole Smith in the "Economist?"

The Economist?

Although I am now fatigued by the Anna Nicole Smith story by now, her peculiar life continues as the "Economist" writes a eulogy to her breast implants:

Yet all this was somewhat beside the point; because what you saw first, on meeting Ms Smith, were the Breasts. There were only two of them, but they made a whole frontage: huge, compelling, pneumatic. They burst out of tight red dresses—preferably red—or teased among feather boas, or flanked a dizzying cleavage that plunged to tantalising depths. These were celebrated, American breasts, engineered by silicon to be as broad and bountiful as the prairie. With them, a girl from nowhere—or from Houston, Texas—could do anything. The body behind them waxed and waned, sometimes stout as a stevedore's and sometimes almost waif-like, matching the little-girl voice; but the Breasts remained. “Everything I have”, Ms Smith admitted, “is because of them.”

Not exactly the story you want disseminated to your children as it is so often untrue, but Anna led a celluloid life.

Anna Nicole Smith's Methadone prescription

TMZ

Although I tire of the Anna Nicole Smith story, a legitimate medical issue has come up: the Methadone scripts. TMZ reports that a Dr. Sandeep Kapoor wrote her several scripts under different names. I review cases for the California Medical Board. They are plastic surgery cases, so this is a bit different.

Nevertheless, I believe that controlled substance scripts need to be written to the legal name of the patient. This may be a problem for the good doctor. Explaining why he wrote such a medication for a pregnant woman may take a review by medical experts in the fields of Internal Medicine, OB/GYN and/or Substance Abuse Medicine.

Angelina Jolie's nose job

Pic and Story Source

Angelina Jolie has had a nice rhinoplasty. The tip is refined and the work is not obvious without looking at pre-op images. CityRag blogs on this today. When this was done is a mystery.

Anna Nicole Smith and her Refrigerator?

Pic and Story Source

Story Source 2

Well folks, TMZ.com is reporting that Anna Nicole Smith had had recent cosmetic surgery. The supposition is that the surgery or late effects may have contributed to her death. Performing a cosmetic procedure on a woman taking many medications increases the risk quite a bit. Hopefully her surgery wasn't a contributing factor to her death. I still think drug use is very likely a factor.

TMZ.com also has a bit on her refrigerator in the Bahamas (How the devil do they get these pics?) It has little red top vials that look quite a bit like the Vitamin B12 that I order for the office. These are commonly used after gastric bypass surgery. I wonder if she may have had that operation in the prior years. The Methadone is a big bottle and really is no surprise.

Teri Hatcher Hasn't Had Botox?

Pic and Story Source

Teri Hatcher has denied the internet rumors proclaiming she has received Botox injections and plastic surgery

Really. So her forehead just doesn't move then? It looks like too much Botox; so much I believe that she may have helped lower her eyebrows. She might benefit from a forehead lift, but she doesn't like plastic surgery.

She might be better off saying nothing. Is anybody buying this?

Denise Richards Bikini Pic Hysteria

Flynetonline

Denise Richards needs to find a better way to hide from the teeming mass of photographers. The interest in the privates of celebrities may be at an all time high. I got word that Flynetonline (link above) had images of Denise's privates. "Would she benefit from labiaplasty?"

Fortunately Denise's privates are safe (for now.) The images on Flynetonline include a little inner thigh skin but that is all.

She might benefit from a little inner thigh lift, but a labiaplasty from these images is not in the cards.

Jane Seymour on Plastic Surgery

Carefair

Jane Seymour says she's had an eyelid operation but you shouldn't have plastic surgery.

"Seymour is also against Botox for wrinkle control and excessive exercising and dieting."

What is excessive? Has anyone seen any images of her lately? If she is against "pencil thin" people, there may be a point in there.
