Jamie Lee Curtis Shuns Cosmetic Surgery

I love this.

After admitting that she has had cosmetic breast surgery, liposuction and Botox, Ms Curtis has decided that since it didn't work out for her that no one else should have it.

Oh, I don't know. Maybe her motivations were wrong or her expectations. I just don't seem to see the same dissatisfaction in my patients. Then again I don't know who operated her, or her medical condition, stability of her weight or anything else.

Was she looking to liposuction as weight loss? Did she get everything under the sun treated with Botox?

We will never know, but for the record, she doesn't think you should do anything.

Now we all feel better.....

LOL,

All difficulties that she has had aside, I wonder if she would rather have her previous body back? I don't think so..
I bet she would still do it all over again...

good grief dr. d.

you don't see the same disastisfaction in YOUR patience because you grill them unmercifully on what it is they want, why do they want it, what, exactly do they expect (GOD help them if they are not able to articulate this) and why do they think they can expect this particular result.

Only after they get through the initial consultation (which you brazenly bill as where they get to know you...HAH!!!) Then you want to know any and every aspect or detail of their life that may prevent them from being happy with what you see as any project possibly negative outcome, which you will present to them in all the pure unvarnished ugliness that there may be.

IF they slog through that, THEN

in the time that some doctors use to present themselves, their qualification and why THEY should be the surgeon to do any and every tweaking on any any and everyone else's body...YOU have YOUR patients present to you why they should have the honor of having you as their surgeon.

It was a pretty amusing experience.

I must say, if any experience could confuse me, running into you almost did.

THAT is why you don't have any dissastisfied patients. By the time YOU agree to operate on them, any wishy washy wannabe unhappy wimps have flunked out of your screening process.

seems to work tho.

lv2u, flatsie (sorry, it makes me laugh)

"THAT is why you don't have any dissastisfied patients."

THAT seems like the best way to do it.

haha...that's like a Pamela Anderson...she recently said people should not buy into the conspiracy of anti-ageing products and age naturally :)

I have dissatisfied patients but very very few. No one is perfect.

I think I'm with Jamie on this one. It's SOP in Hollywood to just get more and more and more done, and they start looking REALLY freakish. It's definately increased my interest in people who ARNT doing it, just because people who arn't going wacky on the surgery are UNIQUE in Hollywood right now. Of course, as with all things... she can urge people to grow old gracefully... nobody's obligated to listen :)
